The mission of the Stillwater County Library Foundation is to raise vital funds for capital improvements and the expansion of quality services, programs, and events offered by the Stillwater County Library.
Meet the SCLF Board
Cheryl Anderson, President
Cheryl is a business owner based out of Park City, MT. A long-time Montana educator, she has continually used a variety of services offered by the library.
Vernon Ball, Vice-president
Vernon is a business owner with a long history of using his talents to provide support for many projects at the library, including the maker-space project.
Sheri Fallang, Treasurer
Sheri was raised in a ranching family in Absarokee. She has an extensive accounting background for local businesses including United Bank and Stillwater Mining Company, as well as using her talents for many youth organizations.
Terry Toth, Secretary
Terry retired and brought her executive administrative talents to Montana a few years ago. She is actively pursuing being more involved in the community by promoting greater interest in, support for, and use of our local library and programs.
Non-Profit Status
On March 8, 2023, Stillwater County Library Foundation (SCLF) was formed as a Montana nonprofit public benefit corporation. SCLF was formed exclusively for charitable and educational purposes within the meaning of Internal Revenue Code (“IRC”) Section 501(c)(3).
SCLF is recognized as a public charity by the IRS under IRC Section 170. The effective date of tax exemption is March 8, 2023. SCLF is qualified to receive tax-deductible bequests, devises, transfers, or gifts under Section 2055, 2106, or 2522.
SCLF is also recognized by the Montana Department of Revenue as a tax-exempt, non-profit organization under Montana law (15-31-102(1), MCA). Please contact us or visit the About section for more information.
